Teach Me How To Brushy VideoIt's a one-minute, 17-second hip hop video set to the tune of "Teach Me How to Dougie" by Cali Swag District and featuring an array of well-known Oregonians such as former Portland Trail Blazer Jerome Kersey. About a week after its July 16 release, Teach Me How to Brushy has garnered more than 412,000 hits on YouTube. Mission of Mercy 2012Friday & Saturday September 14 - 15, 2012 Central High School 815 S. Oakdale Medford, Oregon The Oregon Dental Association hosted our first Mission of Mercy event November 22-23, 2010 and our second November 21-22, 2011. Mission of Mercy is a dental clinic with portable dental stations set up in a large public arena. Dental screenings and services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, at no charge to those who attend. MOM combines the donated services of hundreds of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental lab technicians and an array of volunteers to provide these free dental services. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful community support that we received for Oregon Mission of Mercy. For more information go to: Oregon Mission of Mercy Mission of Mercy 2011Our office is closed today, November 22, 2011. Our staff are volunteering with the Mission of Mercy at the Oregon Convention Center. Hundreds of local residents with dental needs lined up well before dawn in the driving rain and darkness Monday morning to take advantage of a two-day free clinic in Portland. The Mission of Mercy clinic, sponsored by the Oregon Dental Association, is in its second year and treated about 1500 people in 2010. Organizers are expecting more people this year. Starting at 6 a.m., the first 10 patients were admitted to a sprawling dental facility set up in the Oregon Convention Center. The line to get in stretched along the sidewalks around the perimeter of the Convention Center. Prospective patients began lining up on Sunday and spent a cold, wet night outside. One man said he was in line to take care of a problem that had been bothering him for four years. The dental care is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis until 6pm Monday and will begin again Tuesday morning. Patients are admitted 10 at a time for the care, which is free.
